My Jersey, Your Impact
This year, the Senior boys and girls basketball players and managers will each have a home game in which they get to honor someone from the Neoga School District staff that has had an impact in their life. They will present their game day jersey to their person of choice and tell them why they have made a positive impact on them. Today’s “My Jersey, Your Impact” highlights Landon Titus. Landon chose to give his jersey to Neoga CUSD #3 Superintendent Kevin Haarman. Below is Landon’s reason for his choice.
“I chose Mr. Haarman to give my game day jersey to for our My Jersey, Your Impact game. Mr. Haarman is always encouraging me to do my best even when things don’t go as planned. Whenever I’m working on something sports related in the neighborhood, he never says no to helping me. He tells me to focus on the positives and to keep my head up. This is something I will remember for the rest of my life.”
