My Jersey, Your Impact

This year, the Senior boys and girls basketball players and managers will each have a home game in which they get to honor someone from the Neoga School District staff that has had an impact in their life. They will present their game day jersey to their person of choice and tell them why they have made a positive impact on them. Today’s “My Jersey, Your Impact” highlights Luke Keller. Luke chose to give his jersey to Neoga High School Spanish Teacher Anne Anderson.  Below is Luke’s reason for his choice.

“I chose Mrs. Anderson to give my game day jersey for our My Jersey, Your Impact game. I chose Mrs. Anderson because of the impact she has had on me over the span of 5 years. As one of her few students who took Spanish 3 and had her for 5 years, I’ve been fortunate to experience her passion for Spanish. One thing I always liked about her class was that there was a pattern to her class. You always knew what you were going to do and what she expected. On top of this, she made learning Spanish fun. Over the 5 years she taught me patience, kindness, and how to overall be a good person.”
